Austin Dotson
Creators often post workout videos, pictures, and workout routines of their superhuman bodies. Quite often, these influencers seem superficial, only concerned with their physiques and exercises. But this is far from the truth, and the most obvious example is Mr. Austin Dotson.

A digital creator and fitness influencer from Carson, California, Austin Dotson was born on October 17th, 1991. When Austin was a child, he was always interested in sports. Throughout high school, he played football. His parents were in financial hardship, and he knew that undergraduate tuition would be out of reach. Because of this, Dotson spent his weekdays and weekends perfecting his craft, becoming engrossed in the game of football, and became addicted to it. He received multiple scholarships across the country by the end of high school due to his dedication. His football career continued at Sacramento State University. Dotson did not receive an NFL draft pick after graduating. It turned out to be only a minor setback. With a strong sense of motivation, Dotson continued his rigorous training and networking until he was signed as a professional football player. Dotson played two seasons in the arena league, a professional athletic league, but not affiliated with the National Football League. Eventually, Dotson retired.
The former NFL prospect has moved on to other activities after putting his dreams of becoming a player in the past. In his first job, he worked between 8 and 12 hours per day for a mortgage company. He stopped exercising and started drinking alcohol, which led to a downward spiral. On Christmas Day, Dotson was arrested for DUI. In that time frame, he had a daughter to take care of, her mother was terribly ill, and his football career had ended, and he lacked the money to support his family or himself. In January of 2017, he fell into a deep depression. Dotson stood in front of the mirror that day and decided he was going to become a better man and father for his daughter. That fateful day changed his life forever...
Dotson quit all bad habits such as smoking, drinking, and using drugs after that. Using the unemployment benefits he received, he bought a membership at 24 hour fitness. He researched how to train, what to eat, and how to eat. As his health improved, he became increasingly fascinated. Besides feeling better physically, he also felt better mentally. It wasn't long before Dotson landed a new job as a behavioral therapist, which paid better than his old one and provided more time off for training. As he looked in the mirror again, he was not the same person that he saw six months ago, but now he saw someone completely different.
Dotson was featured on two magazine covers, was an SAG commercial actor, published in Men's Health Magazine, has received national press releases, has been featured on newspapers, and also has a following of over half a million on social media. To inspire others, Dotson uses his social media influence.
