Yes, 'Gaonwala Conceptz Studiioz ' is the only studio which showcases village related stories and village related problems and that too unique ways. Established by Producer Dhananjay Masoom, 'Gaonwala Concept Studioz' is making waves for its village oriented content and has succeeded with all the love it had been receiving from the audiences for its original and different kinds of content based shows.
It is interesting to know that Dhananjay Singh Masoom started his career as a copywriter and soon associated himself as a creative director of several TV shows where he worked for almost 15-20 years. Later he ventured in Marathi film industry and produced movies such as 'Phuntroo ' and 'Takatak'. But later Dhananjay Singh Masoom realised that there is no other fearless medium as digital medium is and on this platform stories related to villages can be told as realistically and differently as possible. Hence, he decided to start his own digital platform called 'Gaonwala Concept Studioz'.
Notably 'Gaonwala Conceptz Studiioz' has a philoshophy of not making shows which doesn't showcase stories related to the villages of our country. Hence they have a firm believe in "Jis Kahani mein gaon nahin, woh humein Sunani nahin". Keeping this philosophy in mind, Dhananjay Singh Masoom produced 'The Gaon Diaries, Bihar' under which they produced several episodes namely 'Berozgaar Pati', 'Byaah Katwa', 'Saali Ki Jaalsaazi' and 'Bantwara'. All the episodes were hugely successful and they garnered more than 200 million views within a very short span of time.
Talking about his future projects, Producer Dhananjay Singh Masoom informed that after the humungous success of 'Berozgaar Pati' the studio has decided to produce 10 more episodes inspired by 'Berozgaar Pati' where the relationship dynamics of a unemployed husband and a employed wife will be in focus. The behavioural pattern of the society towards the couple will also be underlined in this series. Dhananjay Singh Masoom further informs that he has already shot 5 episodes of web show 'Sasural Jhunki Ka' and these episodes will soon start streaming on their digital platform. The show will have two seasons and each season is going to have 26 episodes.
'Sasural Jhunki Ka' is a story of a girl named Jhunki who is married at the tender age of 18 years. She takes some time to realise about her responsibilities and dynamics of her relationships with people in her new house. The show tells a story about the transformation of a carefree girl to a much more matured woman. The studioz is producing one more show titled 'Mohabbat Se Aage'. It tells the story of a girl who has to deal with teenage pregnancy before her marriage. The studioz is also looking forward to the exciting show titled 'Bideshi Beta'. It shows the struggle of a man who goes abroad to settle in life but wants to return to the roots and his own village but while doing so, he has to face a lot of difficulties and challenges. At the end of the year, the studio would produce one more show called 'Pahuna Oh Pahuna'. In UP and Bihar 'Pahuna' means son-in-law. It is a story of a son-in-law who keeps troubling his in-laws while interfering in their life.
Talking about his journey Dhananjay Singh Masoom says, "I have always believed in making content fearlessly and independently. I believe that without taking any risk it is not possible to get success in life. I took risk with my content and solely focussed on the village driven content and I got all the success which is kind of overwhelming for me. I am really grateful to our audiences who believed in our content, watched it and appreciated it and have been part of our adventurous journey ever since".
