She is the Founder Joint Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Chapter of the Indian Fertility Society and has made noteworthy contributions to the advancement of reproductive health in the region. With an illustrious career spanning several prestigious positions, Dr. Chandra has demonstrated her commitment to improving healthcare standards. Her profile is as follows:

Dr. Sunita Chandra has served as the Secretary of the Indian Fertility Society U.P. Chapter from 2020 to 2022. In addition, she holds the position of Advisory Board member in the Indian Fertility Society, UP Chapter. Her expertise and dedication have earned her a membership in the Quality Council of India.

Furthermore, Dr. Chandra has actively contributed to the field as the Chairperson of the Medico Legal Committee in the Lucknow Obstetrician & Gynecologists Society. She has previously served as the Joint Secretary of the same society and as the Secretary of the Association of Private Gynecologists of Lucknow. Dr. Chandra's leadership skills are evident in her role as the Co-Chairman of the Private Practitioner division in the Indian Medical Association (IMA) from 2019 to the present.

Dr. Chandra has played a crucial role in promoting community health and hygiene as the Chairman of the Community Health & Hygiene division in the Indian Medical Association from 2016 to 2019. She has also taken charge as the Convener of the Scientific Program in the Indian Medical Association, a responsibility she has held from 2019 to the present.

As an esteemed member of the medical community, Dr. Sunita Chandra holds the position of an Executive Member in the Lucknow Obstetrics and Gynecological Society, further establishing her dedication to the field.

Dr. Chandra's academic background is exceptional. She graduated with a B.Sc. degree as a Gold Medallist and pursued her M.B.B.S. degree in 1987. Subsequently, she completed her MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1991 from the renowned King George Medical College in Lucknow. Dr. Chandra's pursuit of excellence led her to undergo advanced training in infertility management and Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART) in Germany in 2011.

Throughout her career, Dr. Chandra has been actively involved in conducting hands-on ART workshops, training over 1500 young gynecologists in ART techniques. The application of ART and surrogacy methods at her center has positively impacted numerous patients from various regions.

Dr. Sunita Chandra is not only committed to her professional responsibilities but also actively engages in social causes. She has extended her support to crucial initiatives such as the "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" campaign, advocating for the rights and well-being of girls and women. Additionally, she has made significant contributions to the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, which focuses on ensuring the safety and welfare of pregnant women.

Dr. Chandra's dedication to public health is evident through her center's registration with the government, specifically for sharing information on TB detection and treatment.
