Pivoting towards the common goal of making the governance and polity more efficient, is a youth-led organisation named Development Leaders’ Alliance, founded by youth entrepreneur Sankalp Shukla. In order to commemorate the phenomenal burgeoning that our country has undergone as an outcome of the central government’s policies, DLA has announced the launch of a Coffee table Book '8 Years 80 miracles' in its upcoming event in mid-June. The event is expected to be attended by prominent cabinet ministers, ambassadors, members of Parliament bureaucrats, journalists, industrialists and intellectuals. As the ruling government is set to accomplish eight years of its tenure on May 30, the book is a look back at the top 80 miracles done by the Modi government in these eight years.

‘8 years 80 miracles’ is a treatise having the power to inspire and captivate young minds, educate and aware the masses and ultimately exists as a compilation of lesser-known truths. It is the brainchild of the Development Leaders’ Alliance which is oriented toward building an alliance of different leaders with a vision to empower and contribute to the nation-building process through innovative and adaptive initiatives. It has been founded by Sankalp Shukla along with a trustee and philanthropist, Surinder Bakshi; CEO of Mad Influence, Gautam Madhvan and Chairman of the confederation of young leaders, Himadrish Sawan.

The hallmark of a great democracy is inevitably the provision of good governance and India’s current government is conquering all the milestones. The two-term Bharatiya Janata Party government has been the catalyst for the country’s immense growth both politically as well as economically. The hands-on approach along with egalitarian administration and people-centric schemes has made it the nation's most beloved party. As an immediate consequence of the stratagem of the ruling party, the achievements have reached beyond a remarkable number and a major facet that has undergone a much-needed tremendous transformation is our national character. ‘8 years 80 miracles’ captures the government’s most stellar achievements that have transformed the nation into a constantly upward-pointing dynamic entity.

Sankalp Shukla said that the book encapsulates how PM Modi has fundamentally metamorphosed the strategy for taking our tremendously diverse country onto the path of excellence by providing not only state-of-the-art infrastructure as well as by creating a very high pedestal for India in the global arena today. The book consists of a detailed description of the development projects done by the ruling government in the past eight years. It is a robust compendium that determines how the India that we now see from the global lens is achieving great heights and showcases the immense potential for the developed world, all of which has been the ultimate outcome of the grassroot as well as macro-level initiatives taken by the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The title ‘8 years 80 miracles’ encompasses the remarkable journey of the central government which has concocted India into a global hub for agricultural export as well as manufactured goods and managed to fuse our glorious civilizational heritage with our modern lifestyles. It is a testament to the very strength that we have as a nation and the firm foundations that have been laid down in the last eight years that not only give us economic resilience but also widespread social acceptance in the citizen’s mandate.

The founder said that DLA is structured to link the diverse experience of stakeholders from multiple sectors towards the explicit goal of creating an impact on the development process of the country. It envisions attracting scholars of diverse fields and creating an alliance for serving the nation. It strives to engage a broad network of various stakeholders towards a shared vision of inclusive development. It introduces various execution-oriented initiatives to create a larger impact and attract youth toward nation-building. Moreover, it prepares the youth for leadership roles that allow them to learn and work across disciplines and network with society leaders. This organization aims to build trust, commitment, inspiration and innovation through collaborative efforts and continuous communication.

Being a Social Entrepreneur working in a multitude of areas including youth affairs, rural development, educational reforms, and political strategies along with global and national policymaking, Sankalp Shukla has also founded and chaired India Youth Summit which is India's first execution-oriented youth summit and has won several awards including India’s top 100 Young Leaders Award. He is a thriving personality with an immense inclination towards amelioration and reformation of the nation-building process in adherence to which he founded ‘Gram Abhiyan’ aiming to transform villages via United Nations goals of sustainable development. He continues his spadework and toil for the welfare of the people of his nation.
