The Pakistani Army violated the ceasefire for the 14th consecutive day, resorting to unprovoked firing and heavy shelling across the Line of Control (LoC) in several areas, including Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri, and Akhnoor. The shelling, which included artillery and mortar fire, resulted in the death of at least 13 people, including four children and one Indian soldier. The attack came in the wake of India’s Operation Sindoor, with the Indian Army responding proportionately to the aggression.
