BVA Accuses BJP's Tawde of Cash Distribution in Virar, Protests Follow

In a dramatic incident at Hotel Vivanta in Virar East on Wednesday morning, BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde was allegedly found with cash, sparking a heated confrontation with Bahujan Vikas Aghadi (BVA) supporters. The altercation occurred more than 17 hours after the Maharashtra Assembly election campaign had ended, with BVA activists accusing Tawde of attempting to bribe voters by distributing ₹5 crore to their candidate, Rajan Naik. BVA supporters, led by Hitendra Thakur, stormed the hotel, throwing cash at Tawde and disrupting a meeting he was having with BJP candidate Naik. The incident quickly escalated, with police arriving at the scene to escort Tawde away. Despite the claims of the BVA, which included allegations of a ₹5 crore transaction found in a diary by MLA Kshitij Thakur, no evidence of money distribution was found during a search of Tawde`s vehicle. BJP officials denied the accusations, claiming the BVA was attempting to fabricate a false narrative. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut also commented on the controversy, stating that the Election Commission should have handled the situation, not the Thakur family. The incident has drawn widespread attention, with tensions running high in the region as local police continue to monitor the situation.... [Read More]

India’s most wanted Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dalla arrested in Canada

Canadian authorities have arrested designated Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep Singh Gill, alias Arsh Dalla, following a violent shooting incident in Milton, Ontario, according to a report in local Canadian television outlet CTV. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on November 14 called on Canada to extradite Arsh Dalla, "face justice in India’. In response to media queries regarding the arrest of a designated terrorist Arsh Dalla in Canada, MEA Official Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal said, "In view of the recent arrest, our agencies will be following up on an extradition request. Given Arsh Dalla`s criminal record in India and his involvement in similar illegal activities in Canada, it is expected that he will be extradited or deported to face justice in India." Dalla has been charged in a case related to the shooting in Ontario on October 28, as per a report by Adrian Ghobrial on CTV. Dalla is a close aide of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was killed outside a Gurudwara in Surrey in June 2023. In January 2023, the Union Home Ministry declared him a "terrorist" under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. He is among the most wanted terrorists in the country and has been charged in various cases of targeted killings and extortion.... [Read More]
