Woman found bloodied and injured, locked in room for three days

The woman lived with a man on rent and he has been missing since the incident. She was found alone in the room which was locked from the outside for three days

A woman was found unconscious and in a bloodied condition confined in a room in Narela, New Delhi on Tuesday. The doctors suspect that the woman might have been raped and hit with something heavy on her head. The condition of the woman is critical and has been admitted to a hospital.

The woman was living with a man on rent for two months and he has been missing since the incident. The 28-year-old woman was found alone in the room which was locked from the outside for three days. The incident came to light when the landlady went to check the flat and found the woman unconscious and alone in the room.

The incident was soon reported to the police. The police reached the apartment, broke the lock open and found that the woman was badly injured with serious injuries on her head and body. The police then took the woman to Satyawadi Raja Harish Chandra Hospital. According to India Today, the woman's condition is still critical and she has been unconscious for the last 12 hours.

BEST bus fares reduced, minimum fare down to Rs 5
After going back and forth on the issue of reducing the minimum fare for buses, the BEST Committee has finally decided to make the base charge Rs 5. The proposal will first be sent to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and then to the Metropolitan Regional Transport Authority for approvals, a process that would take less than a month.
