Bollywood actress Shruti Haasan, the eldest daughter of veteran actor Kamal Haasan, has reportedly filed a police complaint against a stalker, a Karnataka-based doctor, KG Guruprasad, who has threatened to kill her.


The stalker has also been sending Shruti Haasan abusive and derogatory messages on Twitter since September 7, 2016.

According to a report in DTNext, Shruti Haasan submitted a two-page complaint to the Cyber Crime grievance cell at the City Police Commissioner’s Office on Wednesday in Chennai through her agent Praveen Antony.

In her complaint, Shruti Haasan alleged that the harasser had been using expletives and highly derogatory terms to abuse her and in some of the messages, he threatened to kill her as well. As per the details, the accused said he would stab the actress if he managed to get near her.

Shruti Haasan has attached screenshots of the messages in her complaint.

Guruprasad works as a doctor at the Hassan Institute of Medical Science in Karnataka.

In 2013, Shruti Haasan had been attacked by a stalker in her home in Bandra, Mumbai. (Read full story)
