Shahid Kapoor's midnight haircut for his upcoming film, 'Udta Punjab', set the paparazzi swarming outside a suburban salon in Mumbai for hours. Consequently, the actor was stuck there for almost two hours.

Shahid Kapoor spotted in Bandra on Wednesday evening
A source says, "Shahid had gone for a haircut on late Wednesday night and on stepping out of the salon, he saw a group of photographers waiting outside, ready to click him. He rushed inside and had to wait for two hours till the paparazzi left."
A source at the salon confirms the story, saying: "It's a new look for his film and he wants to keep things under wraps. So, he had no other option but to stay back at the salon till he was sure that no shutterbug was around."
Before getting the haircut, Shahid had been spotted roaming around Bandra in a hooded shirt.
Shahid remained unavailable for comment.
