Neelambari and Vibhavari, contrary to what their names may convey, are MTDC buses that are back in business after being put out of service during the monsoon months. The open-deck buses are ready to resume their services over weekends, taking you through locations across South Mumbai.



Buildings of historic and archaeological significance including the Western Railway Head Quarters, the Old Secretariat, Convocation Hall of the Mumbai University, and the Thomas Cook Building are landmarks to watch out for. The tours conducted by trained staff make sure that the evening turns out to be an entertaining and informative one, even for those of you who live right here in the city.


The route: Gateway of India - Vidhan Bhavan - Oberoi Hotel - Marine Drive - Churchgate Railway Station - Eros Theatre - Oval Maidan - Maharshi Karve Road - Rajabai Tower - CST Railway Station Building - DN Road - Hutatma Chowk - Homi Modi Street - Horniman Circle - Asiatic Library - Gateway of India.u00a0u00a0

At: 7 pm to 8 pm, and from 8.15 pm to 9.15 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays.
Fare: Upper Deck for Rs 120, Lower Deck for Rs 50 per head. Tickets are available at MTDC Main Reservation Counter, opposite LIC Building, and MTDC Gateway of India Counter. Call: 22845678
