The witty and humourous posts on the feed really connected with the youth and has seen the account garner over one lakh 80 thousand followers.
The official accounts of both the Mumbai Police and the Commissioner of Police have done several issues like campaigns on women's safety, cyber safety, general traffic rules and avoiding drugs.
But Mumbai police's recent tweets may not be as witty as earlier, but are surely more informative with statistics, instructions and counsel to help people.
The word play may have been reduced in recent times, but not the effort in spreading awareness about issues that affect the common man.
