Eight local crew members of an upcoming Bollywood film starring Mughda Godse have perished in the devastating Nepal earthquake.

The lead actress, her co-star in the film Ruslaan Mumtaz, director Manoj Dhaman and other Indian members of the team are safe. The team was in Nepal a week ago shooting for the film in Pokhara, which is close to the epicentre of the earthquake.

Mughda said, "It's sad to know the crew I spent so much time with few of them are no more. It's extremely unnerving and saddening. I was there just a few days ago it's quite unbelievable to me to be honest. Structures we shot against seem to be no more. Really upsetting."
She had earlier tweeted, “RIP my 8 crew members, victims to force of nature #earthquake #nepal worked for my upcoming film, very very shocking and depressing...”
Those who perished in the quake from the unit included drivers and unit hands who were part of the film's recent schedule in Nepal.
