Incessant rains since the wee hours threw normal life out of gear in Mumbai but that didn't stop Twitterati from flooding the social media with jokes and here are some of the wittiest ones
Incessant rains since the wee hours today threw normal life out of gear in Mumbai and adjoining areas with the Central Railway's suburban services disrupted due to waterlogging of tracks at some places.

The downpour led to waterlogging in parts of south and central Mumbai as well as eastern and western suburbs, leading to major traffic snarls in the morning peak hour. Traffic crawled at a snail's pace on major thoroughfares like Eastern Express and Western Express highways and major north-south roads, delaying tens of thousands. Suburban train services on Western Railway, Central Railway and Harbour Line ran 15-30 minutes late.
Amid all the chaos and paranoia, Twitter was 'flooded' with jokes, memes and tweets which did lighten the situation. Don't believe us. Take a look at these witty ones and chuckle.
