A woman and her minor daughter were murdered in their apartment on November 5. Now the police say they have caught the three people responsible for their deaths as per reports by Times of India. The two women who were murdered were mother and daughter and were found in their apartment at Pimprigaon in Daighar with their throats slit. The woman was also stabbed and her daughter was strangled to death.

As per the police, the woman, used to do some odd jobs for the victim, and her live-in partner and her daughter were accomplices in the crime. The trio have been arrested for the double murder. DCP Dr D S Swami said that the police had formed four teams to trace the killers who were eventually caught at a dargah at Gulbarga in Karnataka. He said, "It was a complex case with no technical evidence as the accused did not use mobile phones. But CCTV footage at various locations in various states gave us vital proof. The woman used a walker as she is physically challenged, and this footage gave us leads," Swami said.
The police said that they were now probing the motive for the murders and added that the trio made off with loot worth Rs 1.50 lakh worth jewellery and Rs 15,000 in cash that has not yet been recovered. During their investigation, the police found that the trio took an auto and then a train to Ahmedabad. They then travelled to Indore, Bhopal and then Gulabrga. The DCP said, "Our teams tracked the movements of the accused and traced them with the help of CCTV footage and inputs from locals at various bus-stands. Police also got clues of the autos they used."
