The name of MiD DAY's investigations editor J Dey, killed on June 11, 2011, has been etched on a glass panel in US museum
Newseum, a news museum in Washington, DC. The museum has dedicated a wall to journalists who lost their lives while immersed in their commitment to reporting news, be it from war zones, natural disasters or crime hotbeds, as in the case of Dey. To honour the memory of the scribes, the museum will reinstate a memorial collage of their photos in a homage ceremony on May 13.
