Sanon was in talks for the lead role in the film, to be directed by Mohit Suri.
When asked if she is doing the movie, the 25-year-old actress said, "As of now, no I am not. The way it happens with me is you sign one project, and my motive is to give 100 per cent to it. I've already signed a film with Sushant (Singh Rajput) so I could not have committed my 100 per cent for some other movie."
The film with Sushant will mark the directorial debut of Vijan, known for producing movies like "Cocktail" and "Finding Fanny".
Kriti's latest on screen outing "Dilwale" is on its way to become a hit and the actress couldn't be happier with the audience's response.
"It is a family entertainer and families are enjoying it. It's coming in festive time so people are watching the film with their family," she told reporters at the red carpet of Stardust Awards here.
The movie, also starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan, did not have much for the actress to do but Kriti said she enjoyed being a part of the romantic-comedy.
"In a Rohit Shetty film there are lots of characters and they are very well spaced out... I enjoyed doing it."
