AS news of Vinod Khanna's demise trickled in, industry folk cancelled most events as a mark of respect to the yesteryear superstar, and gathered at his funeral in Worli last evening

AS news of Vinod Khanna's demise trickled in, industry folk cancelled most events as a mark of respect to the yesteryear superstar, and gathered at his funeral in Worli last evening.

The makers of 'Baahubali 2' cancelled the film's grand premiere as well as the press preview. Vinod's close friend, superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who had scheduled interviews to promote his upcoming film, also called off the media interaction and rushed to meet Khanna's family.

Suniel Shetty, who was extremely close to Khanna, flew back from Dubai yesterday to attend the prayer meet, just hours after he had landed there.

Plans for Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor's photoshoot at Mehboob Studios, and Team Padmavati's all-night shoot were also dropped.
