Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's new girlfriend Edwards buys his club Arsenal’s merchandise for her family on Christmas as the couple's romance heats up

Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's new girlfriend Perrie Edwards, in a bid to show her new beau how much he means to her, bought her family Arsenal-related gifts this year for Christmas.

The Little Mix pop star splashed out on the football team's merchandise including T-shirts and accessories, according to a report in The Sun.

"Things are hotting up between the pair. They love spending time with each other and make each other laugh a lot. Perrie has bought her family and friends Arsenal merchandise for Christmas. It shows how much she thinks of him," a source close to the couple, said.

Perrie and Alex have been dating since November. Her most famous beau to date is former One Direction hunk Zayn Malik, who she was engaged to, but both split in May 2015.
