It probably started after Adi ditched RK's housewarming party on December 14 only to be spotted by the paparazzi later that night with Ranbir's ex, Katrina Kaif, outside his house. Their common friends claim that Adi has just been busy with promotions of his next, 'Ok Jaanu'. Ah, well.
