Dhankhar pays tribute to Ebrahim Raisi

VP Jagdeep Dhankhar travelled to Tehran to attend the official funeral ceremony of late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi & Foreign Min Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
He led the Indian delegation, paying homage to the deceased Iranian officials who died in a tragic helicopter crash.
During his visit, VP Dhankhar met with Iran`s acting President Mohammad Mokhber. He conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of Indian govt and its people.
As a mark of respect for the late Iranian President Raisi, India observed a one-day state mourning. The Indian flag was flown at half-mast.
President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended their condolences to the Iranian people and government.
President Raisi and his entourage were travelling to Tabriz city when their helicopter crashed in a foggy, mountainous region in northwestern Iran on Sunday.
