Four coaches of train derail in Ajmer

Four coaches of the Sabarmati-Agra superfast train derailed near Ajmer station on Monday morning. Officials of the railways said no loss of life was reported.
The Railway officials further stated that the incident occurred around 1 am while the express was on its way to Agra.
They added that six trains were cancelled and two were diverted due to the derailment near Ajmer.
CPRO of North Western Railway, Shashi Kiran, said that the incident happened after train crossed Ajmer station & was approaching Madar station.
The official further added that the train movement (up & down) towards Delhi has begun and services in UP direction will begin soon.
Kiran further told the media that the cause of derailment is yet to be ascertained.
The NWR set up a helpdesk at Ajmer station and released a helpline number to assist kin of the passengers aboard the train.
