Fire erupts in Holi spl train in Bihar

A fire broke out in an air-conditioned coach of a Holi Special Train at Arrah junction in Bihar on Tuesday night. No casualties were reported in the incident.

CPRO of East Central Railways said that the fire broke out in one coach of Mumbai LTT SF Holi Special.

The incident happened tat Karisath station which is close to Arrah junction, the official added.

Immediate measures were taken to isolate the affected coach, and the fire was successfully controlled, the officials said.

Danapur Divisional Railway Manager Jayant Chaudhary said the incident had led to diversion of four to five trains.

DRM Jayant Chaudhary added that there were no caualties since the coach which caught fire had no reservations.

Similarly, earlier this week two compartments of Godan Express near Nashik Road station caught fire; no casualties were reported in the incident.
