AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan arrested by ED

The Enforcement Directorate on Monday arrested AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan as part of a money laundering investigation against the MLA and his associates.
Khan was taken into custody under provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act after conducting search at his residence in Okhla area of Delhi.
The ED officials said that Khan was arrested after he gave "evasive" responses to questions that were put to him.
ED took him from his home in official vehicle; he may likely be presented before court today where the agency will seek his custody for sustained interrogation.
Meanwhile, AAP, reacting to Khan`s arrest, said its MLA Amanatullah Khan has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a "false" case.
