Car on fire in Thane

The officials said that the incident took place in Kalyan Phata area of Thane district

A traffic police official had initially witnessed the car being on fire, he then informed the disaster management cell of Thane, an official said

The Fire fighters along with one fire vehicle rushed to the spot to control the blaze

After a fire fighting operation, the blaze was extinguished and the situation was brought under control

No injuries were reported in the incident, the official said
