AI artwork: Mumbai rains get a new look

Visual artist Manoj Umre, a resident of Mumbai originally from Madhya Pradesh views Mumbai differently. He uses AI artworks to show us Mumbai in new looks

Omre found the inspiration to create an imaginary Mumbai after taking note of the never-getting-better monsoon situation in the city

"This is why I thought of creating a satirical take on the monsoon in the city," says Umre

He created vehicles, inspired by some common modes of transport in the city that should have been created by now to traverse the flooding bylanes

The artworks were an immediate hit among Mumbaikars, who agreed that if the city is not going to get good drainage systems it must get monsoon water vehicles
