New Delhi: Domestic smartphone manufacturer Intex on Wednesday launched two smartphones, the Aqua HD 5.0 and the Aqua Y2 in the Indian mobile market. Both dual-sim devices have been launched at an affordable price of Rs 7,790 and Rs 5,190 respectively.
Further to the listing, the company has stayed any word on when they will be made available in the Indian market for purchase. Although, we can expect the announcement anytime soon.
The Intex Aqua HD features 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The handset runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The Intex Aqua HD is clocked at 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor complimented by 1GB RAM. The smartphone gets 8GB inbuilt storage capacity which is expandable up to 32GB through microSD card.
It sports 13-megapixel camera with LED flash on the rear surface and a 5 megapixel camera on the front. To support its operations, it gets a 2300mAh battery.
Aqua Y2 sports a 4-inch WVGA IPS display and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor coupled with 1GB RAM.
On the memory front, it gets 8GB inbuilt storage capacity which is expandable up to 64 GB through a microSD card. New Aqua Y2 features 8 megapixel camera on the rear surface and a 2 megapixel front camera. Fueling the smartphone's operations is a 1400mAH battery to for long lasting usage.
