Once a CA meticulously crunching numbers, Niti Mehta felt a yearning to do something different - to find a canvas where she could allow her imagination to run wild. That's when she discovered the world of calligraphy, changing the very course of her career. In 2021, what began as a personal passion blossomed into a full-time pursuit as Mehta set up The Letter Store. Over time she adapted to a diverse number of surfaces and took to engraving, too. Mehta has collaborated with brands like Bath & Body works, MUJI and Christian Louboutin and expanded her offerings to include live experiences at events. She's also a big believer in imparting her trade secrets to keen, curious students. "I believe in maximising student understanding through private, in-person translation. This allows me to tailor my approach to each individual's needs, ensuring they grasp every detail."

"There are very few teachers who share the secrets and details of the craft with their students, and Niti is one of them. I'm grateful to her for her guidance. Her worksheets on calligraphy were of great help in improving my font style.
