Meet a person with a skill you can use

Jane D'Souza, Portrait photographer
AVAILABLE FOR: Family and kids portraits
CHARGES: Rs 20,000 onwards
CONTACT: 9833093269; janedsouza.in

It was D'Souza's interest in people that drew her to the camera. Having found success with pre-wedding and wedding shoots, parenthood made her rediscover childhood, and how blissful it was. "I naturally gravitated towards taking photos of children," she recalls. "Around this time, a lot of couples who I had photographed, had themselves become new parents, and reached out to me."

This was, she says, the alchemy that led her to start taking family photographs. D'Souza usually does hourly sessions, where she takes approximately 50 photos. She doesn't believe in taking "posed shots". "My way is more organic. I tell them, ‘you just show me who you are.'"

RECOMMENDED BY: Priyanka Rego says, "We are an adoptive family and Jane captured some incredibly joyous, candid, beautiful moments during the first few weeks of our son joining our family. Jane is so easy going and friendly, my family warmed up to her."
