On the occasion of Wildlife Week in early October, the Sanjay Gandhi National Park started the social media initiative to put up a post every day for a year highlighting the various species of flora and fauna the national park houses. The posts provide common and scientific names and trivia on the species spotlighted along with The International Union for Conservation of Nature Red List of Threatened Species (IUCN) status for each. They also have an accompanying Wildlife Illustrations series featuring artworks inspired by the national park's animals.

>>>
Available for: Doodle workshops for educators, students, corporates, schools and colleges
Charges: Online workshops from Rs 550
Email: doodle4education.india@gmail.com
Lewis conducts online workshops with educators to enable them to incorporate doodles into subject-specific classrooms ranging from pre-primary to high school maths, economics, biology and chemistry, orienting them with various strategies, starter activities and subject-specific icons. Her workshops introduce the concepts of storytelling with doodling and visual note-taking with icons and metaphors. As a visual-thinking strategy enthusiast, Lewis promotes doodles not as art but as a tool to learn concepts and create visual notes. Focused on aiding art-integrated education, her efforts are towards helping students and teachers overcome the myth of art for perfection and making doodles friendly and doable.
Recommended by: Sheetal Singh, HOD of Curriculum, Training and Audit at CP Goenka International School, says, "Teachers of my school participated in the training session conducted by Sheila. Ever since, they have been using doodling across subjects to take notes. It has helped students get attentive."
