MELBOURNE: A strict vegetarian diet, spiritual guru and family hugging sessions are methods that have helped Novak Djokovic become one of the most feared tennis players on the planet.

The Australian Open finalist is a follower of Spanish guru Pepe Imaz, a former journeyman player, whose discourses about the human soul are popular worldwide.

Djokovic approached Imaz after a slump in form in u0010 u0006 . . - . . . Djokovicu2019s daily routine, as related to the New York Times last year, involves getting up before dawn with his family, watching the sunrise and then doing hugging and singing sessions, followed by yoga.
