Paris Olympics 2024: Mahavir Phogat confident of Vinesh Phogat’s Gold after her semifinal triumph

Mahavir Singh Phogat, a Dronacharya awardee and wrestling coach, along with others at his sports academy in Charkhi Dadri, celebrated joyfully as his niece, Vinesh Phogat, won her quarterfinal match and advanced to the semifinals in the women`s 50 kg freestyle category at the Paris Olympics 2024. Mahavir Singh Phogat criticized the former President of the Wrestling Federation of India, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, describing Vinesh`s victory as a `slap in his face`.
