Manu Bhaker scripted history by clinching two medals in a single edition of the Olympics. The shooter earned her first bronze medal in the 10m air pistol event and second in the 25m mixed team air pistol event along with Sarabjot Singh at the Paris Olympics 2024
After accomplishing the feats at the Games, Bhaker received a warm welcome in her hometown, Jhajjar. Many people gathered to greet the double-medallist shooter. The Olympiad was wearing "pheta" (a traditional turban worn in Maharashtra) during her welcome in Jhajjar
Later, after her performances, Bhaker was named India's flag bearer for the closing ceremony at the Paris Olympics 2024. Prior to the ceremony, the shooter along with her mother spent quality time on the streets of Paris
Manu also posed with her two bronze medals in front of Paris' Eiffel Tower. Her achievements were celebrated all over India
She later met former Indian boxer Mary Kom and the duo shared talks about the Olympics. In Bhaker's post with Kom, the shooter wrote "Let's plan a workout session soon!" at the end of the caption
Manu Bhaker met Team India's swashbuckling batsman, Suryakumar Yadav. In the image posted by her, Manu is seen taking the role of a batter and Suryakumar acted as a pistol shooter. "Learning techniques of a new sport with the Mr. 360 of India!", wrote Bhaker on X
