Ponnappa wrote this in April 2016: My Last night in Singapore.Had a good tournament here.Played two Super series & one premier super series back to back and it's nice to end the last one way better than the first two.From not qualifying in mixed and two first round losses in women's doubles in the first two tourneys,it was good to reach the pre quarters in WD with a good match against the Japanese Olympic gold medalists and quarter finals in XD..Glad that my partners and I learnt from our mistakes and were able to implement what we learnt.
