Men’s champions Western Railway
Western Railway and Rajdhani Hockey won the Elite men's and women's titles respectively at the Joe Fernandis Memorial hockey tournament at Astro Park, Bandra, on Sunday night.
WR beat CTC 3-1 via shootout after the scores were locked 1-1 at the end of regulation time. Darshan Gaonkar was WR's star striker, scoring thrice - one during the match and twice in the shootout.
In the women's final, Rajdhani Hockey beat UBI 4-0 with Aman netting a brace and teammates Gayatri and Suman scoring a goal each.

In the senior girls final, Republicans SC beat Sea View 2-1. Priti NG and Wilona Rodrigues scored for Republicans while Resham Mahadik netted for Sea View.
In the veteran men's final, Mumbai Raje beat Sea View 2-1. Solomon Alexander and Sameer Coutinho scored for Mumbai Raje while Gavin pulled one back for Sea View.
Union Bank of India's General Managers Girish Chandra Joshi and Gokulananda Das were the chief guests and gave away the prizes.
