Union Bank of India’s Trishul, Amid two good

Wily forwards Trishul Ganapati and Amid Khan were in top form as Union Bank of India routed Bombay Republicans 4-0 in the Joe Fernandis Memorial Rink Hockey tournament at Astro Park, Bandra, on Wednesday.

Ganapati and Khan scored two goals each as Union Bank dominated the proceedings.

In another match, Western Railway got the better of a spirited Hockey Astrengung 4-3. Pankaj Singh opened the scoring for WR after which his teammates Max Singh, Shubham Singh and Hemant Gite added to the tally. For Hockey Astrengung, Ajinkya, Vinayak and Aditya netted a goal each.
