Ukanian tennis beauty Elina Svitolina has decided to split from fellow tennis star Gael Monfils. Recently, the pair released a joint statement on Instagram confirming they have planned to take a break from their relationship. The statement read: "@imgaelmonfils and I decided to take a break in our relationship. The decision was incredibly difficult, because we still have love for each other.

But it's just two best friends realising it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible. We won't be commenting beyond this, and we thank you all in advance for respecting our privacy. Sending lots of love to everyone."

Svitolina and Monfils started dating in 2019 and even had a joint Instagram account (@g.e.m.s.life) where they would post their pictures and videos together.
