Shuttler Priyanshu Rajawat enters main draw; B Sai Praneeth falters

Priyanshu Rajawat progressed to the main draw with two fine victories but the rest of the Indians, including B Sai Praneeth, in the men's singles competition faltered in the qualifying round of the Indonesia Masters Super 500 tournament here on Tuesday.

The 20-year-old defeated Denmark's Victor Svendsen 21-10 13-21 21-13 after getting rid of France's Christo Popov 21-17 21-19 in the opening match. Priyanshu will now face Indonesia's Chico Aura.
