The Indian men's bridge team are on a roll, at second place after the first round robin matches among 11 teams. Only Japan are fractionally ahead.
India started Day Three by drubbing Pakistan 20-0 and carried the momentum by beating the strong Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong China handsomely (15.26 VPs in each match).

The Indian mixed bridge team needed a productive Day Three. They began in a sedate manner against Pakistan, but beat Thailand by a good margin to get 16.72 VPs. At the halfway stage, the mixed team are joint fifth with Singapore. China are just 0.5 VPs ahead.
