Young Indian Grandmaster (GM) Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa added to his growing stature as World's top upcoming chess star by winning the Reykjavik Open chess tournament with a victory against compatriot D Gukesh in the final round.
Pragganandhaa, Pragg as he is fondly called, finished the 7.5 points from nine rounds, finishing half-point ahead of four players - Max Warmerdam, Mads Andersen, Hjorvar Steinn Gretarsson and Abhimanyu Mishra, all of whom finished with 7.0 points.
