I’m probably stricter than Brooklyn as a parent: Roddick

American tennis star Andy Roddick has described his parenting style as strict compared to model wife Brooklyn Decker. The couple have two kids - son Hank, five and daughter Stevie, three.

Roddick considers himself lucky to have such sweet kids. When asked how would he describe his parenting style, Roddick told Yahoo! Life: "I'm probably stricter than Brook maybe. I'm big on accountability. You don't just get a free pass because you're in a bad mood. I think there needs to be a conversation around the right way to do things and the wrong way to do things. But as long as there's a common respect in place, we're pretty open to most things with our kids and we're lucky - they're really sweet."

Roddick said his daughter is a wild card in the house. "Everybody likes to brag about their kids, and Hank is able to kind of understand pretty tough emotional concepts at a young age, which we're very proud of. Our daughter is a little bit more of a wild card," he remarked.
