Top US golfer Brooks Koepka has revealed that fiancee Jena Sims helped him change his lifestyle to become a champion. Koepka, 31, who won four majors across 2017 and 2019, will be part of Team USA against Team Europe in the Ryder Cup, beginning on September 24 at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin.

"There have been times when Blake [Koepka's agent] has been like, ‘Bro, you need to chill.' Jena is the same. She told me to calm down and change things. Mentally, I still think I'm 21. But the past three years, there's the realisation I'm not that young person anymore, who can go jet ski or wakeboard. You have to change your lifestyle. I probably packed on 10 to 15 pounds after the knee surgery because I can't be as active. Earlier, I could eat anything. Now I eat anti-inflammatory foods to feel better," Koepka told Golf Digest.
