Caroline Wozniacki buys Rs 174-crore penthouse in Florida

Danish tennis ace Caroline Wozniacki, who is expecting a baby girl with basketball star David Lee, has spent a whopping USD 24 million (approx Rs 174 crore) for a penthouse on Fisher Island, Florida, a plush locality in America for the rich and famous.

According to news.com.au, the 216-acre island is a few minutes away from Miami by ferry or private yacht. The area has private beaches with sand imported from the Bahamas, 17 community tennis courts and former residents include TV show host Oprah Winfrey, Hollywood star Julia Roberts and tennis great Andre Agassi.

The couple's new residence is an upgraded version of their earlier one which they bought for USD 17.5 (approx Rs 126 crore) in 2018 and sold for USD 21 million (approx Rs 152crore) last February. The couple's current abode is a spacious 2025 square metre home that has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and comes with its own lap pool, landscaped terrace, an outdoor kitchen and waterfront view.
