Asian Games 2023: India cross bridge with silver in China

Hong Kong (China) beat India 229-152 to clinch the bridge gold medal in the men's team category.

The silver medal-winning Indian team comprising Jaggy Shivdasani, Sandeep Thakral, Rajeshwar Tewari, Sumit Mukherjee, Ajay Khare, Raju Tolani and coach Joyjit Sensarma can be proud of themselves, though.

Trailing overnight by 41 IMPs, India needed a winning start in the first session on Friday's concluding day. However, they lost the fourth and fifth set to virtually end any hope of winning the bridge final against Hong Kong (China).
