Anshita Tamhankar of Holy Cross HS (Parel) bagged the girls under-16 gold at the MSSA inter-school table tennis tournament at Hansraj Morarji Public School, Andheri, on Monday. She defeated Mugdha Desai of Diamond Jubilee School (Byculla) 13-11, 11-8, 5-11, 8-11, 11-9 in a tense final.
Meanwhile, Saachi Mandhyan of RN Podar School (Santacruz) claimed the girls under-14 gold, beating Prisha Daga of Arya Vidya Mandir (Juhu) 11-7, 8-11, 13-11, 7-11, 11-8 in the summit clash.

Myra Sangelkar of LR & SM Vissanji Academy (Andheri) and Vedika Jaiswal of Pawar Public School (Chandivli) pocketed the girls under-12 and under-10 gold medals
respectively.

Myra rallied splendidly from the brink of defeat to overcome Sara Ramiya of MK School (Borivli) 12-14, 6-11, 11-1, 11-5, 11-1. Vedika comfortably defeated Heer Bhatt of Arya Vidya Mandir (Juhu) 11-6, 11-4, 11-4.
