Tennis ace Angelique Kerber went on to have one of the most unique birthday celebrations this year.

Kerber, who turned 33 on Monday, shared a cute photo on social media site Instagram of herself posing along with her birthday cake at home. Kerber wrote: "I could spend my birthday exercising all day in the room…or make the most of it while I'm in quarantine. I have the best memories of celebrating my birthday @australianopen in recent years. Even though this year I'm missing out on a singing crowd on Rod Laver Arena, I'm overwhelmed by the wishes I'm receiving."

She continued in her post, "Even more than ever, which is an amazing feeling. They give me so much strength for the days and weeks to come."
