Alex Rodriguez’s rival baseball club messages Jennifer Lopez after split

American singer Jennifer Lopez is being missed by her former boyfriend Alex Rodriguez's rival baseball team the Boston Red Sox. JLo, 51, and Rodriguez, 45, ended their four-year relationship last month.

Rodriguez played for the New York Yankees, arch-nemesis of the Boston Red Sox. The Massachusetts-based team sent a video message to the singer with an instrumental version of Swedish singer Zara Larsson's track, Never Forget You playing in the background.

It also included footage of JLo at a Red Sox game in 2019 with Rodriguez. "To the girl on the Monster for Sunday Night Baseball in 2019. Come back soon. We miss you," the message read. The Red Sox is also the favourite franchise of actor Ben Affleck, who JLo is rumoured to be dating.

Rodriguez is reportedly shocked by JLo and Affleck's relationship. "A-Rod is shocked that JLo has moved on. He has been trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him," a source told Elle magazine.
