WWE SmackDown Live's historic 900th episode marked the epic return of WWE wrestler Undertaker during the final segment of the show. The Deadman had two huge announcements to make.
SmackDown Live kicked off with Dolph Ziggler defending his Intercontinental title against The Miz. Ziggler went on to lose the title after Miz's wife Maryse interfered in the match helping her husband. The Miz will now face Sami Zayn in a title match at Survivor Series 2016.
Kalisto took on NXT wrestler Oney Lorcan and easily defeated him. Meanwhile, King Booker made a return and had some words of advice for SmackDown's tag team wrestlers.
Nikki Bella faced her arch-rival Carmella in a match which was interrupted by WWE Raw women's champion Charlotte. After a series of taunts, Nikki attacked Charlotte, but soon saw the Raw women's enter and attack her. The SmackDown Live women's team then intervened and fought off their Survivor Series rivals.
WWE former wrestler Edge made a return with his talk show segment 'Cutting Edge'. He called on SmackDown's team of AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Shane McMahon, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton and had some individual messages for each of them.
The Undertaker then suddenly made an entrance which saw the crowd on their feet chanting his name. Undertaker went on to praise his Wrestlemania opponent Shane McMahon calling him a 'man with no fear'. The Deadman then stated that he is not defined by Wrestlemania and is back to 'take souls and dig holes'. He also sounded off a warning to Raw's team for Survivor Series 2016 saying they will 'rest in peace' and alerted SmackDown's team that should they fail, they would have a reason to fear him.
