WWE Raw saw the first draft of WWE Superstar Shakeup that saw Dean Ambrose, The Miz and Maryse, Bray Wyatt, Alexa Bliss and Mickey James enter Raw.
Roman Reigns who was on his way for an interview was ambushed mid-way by Braun Strowman. Braun attacked Reigns and in the process apparently cracked his ribs leaving him with internal injuries.
Roman Reigns who was laid on a wheeled stretcher, but Braun Strowman went to push him off a dock. When Reigns was put into an ambulance, Strowman returned and surprisingly overturned the entire ambulance with an injured Roman Reigns in it. Reigns was then sent to a medical facility.
Finn Balor made his single in-ring debut in a match against Jinder Mahal, ever since his injury from Summerslam last year. Former WWE champion Bray Wyatt then announced himself joining Raw and also that he would face Randy Orton at Payback for the title.
Seth Rollins was given assurance from WWE Raw General Manager and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle that he is very much part of Monday Night Raw.
Dean Ambrose fought Kevin Owens on his Raw debut due to the superstar shakeup and defeated Owens. Chris Jericho then returned and attacked Kevin Owens.
Alexa Bliss and Mickey James made their debut on Raw from SmackDown Live. SmackDown Live's Kalisto, Apollo Crews and former tag team champions Heath Slater and Rhyno would join Raw.
Sami Zayn defeated The Miz on the latter's WWE Raw debut. The New Daywere defeated by The Revival. Charlotte lost to Nia Jax during their match on WWE Raw.
