P C Thulasi continued her winning momentum as she entered the women's singles final of the Tata Open India Internationalu00a0 Challenge after she beat Sayali Gokhale 21-6, 21-14 yesterday.

She will meet top seed Fransiska Ratnasari in the final today. The Indonesian beat fourth seed Trupti Murgunde comfortably 21-10, 21-11 in the second semi-finals.
Thulasi took exactly half an hour to win her semi-final match. She was happy that she was able to beat Gokhale comfortably and said, "This is my first final in the senior International tournament. I haven't played with the top seed and will be meeting her for the first time. I have beaten two Indonesians on my way to final and I am looking forward to the final against the top seed. I will give it my best."
While the men's top seed Yunus Alamsyah from Indonesia was stretched in the first game by eight seed Anup Sridhar, before going down 25-23, 21-9 in a 40-minute match.
Though Sridhar was leading the first match till 12-7, after that, the top seed slowly closed the margin and scored an easy victory in the end.
