Shweta emerges fastest sprinter; Aishwaraya, Leon win double gold

Shweta Hakke, of VPM Sports Club, who sprinted to 100m gold in 12.55 secs on the opening day, clocked 26.83 secs in the 200m to emerge as the fastest sprinter in the Mumbai City/Suburban Athletic meet for men and women hosted by Mumbai Suburban District Athletic Association at the Sports Authority of India complex at Kandivali (East) yesterday.

Similarly, in the men's section Leon Horace Pooredkorsandi of Track Blazers, triumphed in the 400m and 200m. Sharing the final day's honours with them was Aishwaraya Mishra, who triumphed in the 800m and 1500m events. Nirmal Yadav (SAI) won the 400m hurdles and leapt to 6.18m for another gold in the long jump to end up with a double gold .
